iMovie-PSA promoting CSUSM/ Nets-T 1 & 3

In this assignment I used iMovie to create a public service announcement for Cal State San Marcos. I used video clips, pictures and music to create a short announcement that promotes why a student should choose CSUSM as their college of learning.

Inspiration/ Nets-T 1 & 2

This assignment required the download of Inspiration so that I could create an organization page that involved graphics and short text to help me relate my assignments in the class to NETS-T standards.

Geo-Cross Excel/ Nets-T 1

First, I went to the Atomic Learning website and completed a tutorial that shows how to use Microsoft Excel in creating a geometry crossword puzzle.

Classroom Newsletter/ Nets-T 1

This newsletter models creativity and can be used in a face to face or virtual environment. Using Microsoft Word I created an interesting newsletter for my students and parents with information about my classroom and activities students have to look forward to.

CSUSM Web 2.0 Tools for Educators Wiki-Classroom Architect/ Nets-T 1 & 3

In this assignment I learned how to use web 2.0 and publish/contribute it on the class wiki. I had a good time learning and discovering new tools that can be used inside the classroom for all different subjects. I specifically chose a tool that allows you to make a visual of an "ideal" classroom.

Cyber-Safety Website/ Nets-T 3 & 4

This assignment was a group collaborative project that used Google Sites. We created a website that helps educate students, teachers and parents about cybersafety. We addressed topics such as Identity Safety, Cyberbullying, Cyber Predators, Piracy and Plagiarism, Inappropriate Content and Social Networks. For each topic we defined, discussed, provided tips, resources and videos to help students, educators and parents.
